:jawdrop: Wow… So there still IS hope?

Is this the final season for “One Tree Hill”?
Ostroff: “I have to be honest. Mark Schwahn is amazing. He has pulled rabbits out of the hat over and over and over again. The viewers are still there and passionate for us. And it’s not just what they watch on air. They’re streaming it (online). They’re DVRing it… It becomes a matter of, will he be able to do enough this season to keep the viewers real excited about it. If he does, and if they are, we’re happy picking it up again… We’d be game if it is still working.”

“Many of the locals close to the show have hinted that this season would be its final year, pointing to expiring contracts for much of the original cast and crew. But we’ve heard that before.”

I don’t know what to think of this… Everyone says it’s the last season, including the cast and crew. Although I have come to terms with it being OTH’s last season, that article still gives me hope, I don’t want the show to end just yet and I don’t want to see my favorite cast part ways :puppy: I’m not ready…

But no character has allowed him to truly grow and make a name for himself as an actor like that of Mouth McFadden on One Tree Hill.”

[...] He laughed and looked over to Norris who was sitting in a chair behind him. “Isn’t that right? I’m much nicer when I’m directing, aren’t I?”

Norris, who plays sports broadcaster Marvin “Mouth” McFadden, shook his head. “I really like him as a director,” he said. “He comes at it from the actor background. He asks you the challenging questions that you should be asking yourself.”

[...] In just two or three takes, the scene with Norris and Munn completely changed its atmosphere. It increased in feeling, tension and intensity between the characters.

“We watched Lee Norris grow up right in front of our eyes. From Minkus on Boy Meets World to Mouth on One Tree Hill, he’s been a part of our lives forever! We chatted with Lee to get the deets on this season of OTH, life without Chad and Hilarie and of course, Boy Meets World.”

“Of all the characters on the CW’s One Tree Hill that have come and gone over the years, it’s arguable that the character of Marvin “Mouth” McFadden (played by Lee Norris) is the most endearing. Whether he spent his time crushing for Brooke (Sophia Bush), facing the challenges of a shaky job market or dealing with his own dramatic twists and turns in his own relationships, Mouth is easily one of the more relatable characters in the teen soap’s ensemble. To find out how it’s been to play Mouth since the show began in 2003, I talked to Norris about the layers yet to be peeled back, filming in North Carolina (where he’s from) and how the cast has adjusted with the departures of Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton…”
