One Tree Hill: There are some messy contracts and negotations and it could go either way but even if renewed it will likely have budget cuts and maybe lose more cast members and producers. SOAPNET has the option of renewing it if the CW were to cancel it.

Absolute bullshit! It’s understandable that they don’t want to bring Melrose back, well because that show is crap but, to cancel One Tree Hill.. that would be the CW’s dumbest move! Any if they get rid of any more cast members, I don’t know if I’ll watch anymore to be honest. The cast is perfect the way it is!

CW, STOP MESSING WITH WHAT WORKS! AND START FOCUSING ON IMPROVING WHAT DOESN’T!!!!!!!! I’m just sick and tired of One Tree Hill being treated like crap from the CW! It gets absolutely no promotion and yet it remains higher in the ratings than shows like Gossip Girl and 90210!

I will be so mad if 1. OTH gets cancelled or 2. If they loose more cast members! because as much as it pains me to say, Lee would probably be one of the cast members to leave and that is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m just so frustrated with this right now.

The CW is gonna piss A LOT of people off if they even think to get rid of OTH or loose more of the cast! Look at the outrage when they got rid of Hilarie … They can’t call it OTH with all new cast members … THEY JUST CAN’T!

I just can’t even start with how frustrated I am right now. The CW are so blind. They are sticking behind shows that won’t even last 7 seasons! Yet, OTH keeps getting high ratings without even being promoted… it’s gotten through being almost cancelled numerous times because of the fan dedication … its just unreal to me that the CW would rather keep mediocre shows than shows that have a solid fan base….

I know exactly how you feel… They should get rid of GG and 90210, so boring! GG s1 was good but then, bleh… And 90210? It started sucking after the first hald of season 1…. Melrose Place is ok. OTH is SOOOO MUCH BETTER. It’s the “little show that could”! :shake:

I like 90210, I don’t want them to get rid of that show … or any of the shows for that matter .. but, I just think they need to give credit where credit is due and treat OTH with the respect it deserves! This show has survived so much and its the second highest rated show on the CW! and honestly, not to knock the other shows but, how long with Vampire Diaries really stay interesting? Once the Vampire thing dies down … I’m sure that people will loose interested … I’d be shocked if it lasted half as long as OTH has.
