Project synopsis: Besides a love for hoops, it would seem that Lucas and Nathan are two young men with little in common – except for the dark secret that they share the same father. Arrogant and assured, Nathan is the star of the high school basketball team and hails from the wealthiest family in town. Quiet, brooding and driven, Lucas is a loner, the only child of a single working mom. He’s always kept his distance from Nathan. But their lives collide when a twist of fate puts Lucas on Nathan’s team.
Character synopsis: ‘Mouth’ leaves for Omaha and becomes a local star. But, when Milicent leaves to support Brooke through some hard times, he begins to rethink his priorities and leaves his job. He then asks for his old job back in a bold move but, luckily the station in Tree Hill is more than happy to have him back. As well as getting his job back, ‘Mouth’ also gets a new intern, his ex-girlfriend Gigi Silveri. Millicent becomes aware of Gigi’s flirtatious ways with ‘Mouth’ and soon discovers pictures of Gigi on his cell and leaves him. This incident then results in Millicent having a drunken one night stand with Owen. Millicent confesses this to ‘Mouth’, but he is unable to forgive her and he advises her to take a job as a buyer for Clothes over Bros (Brooke’s company) in New York.
After seeing his phone bill with over $300 worth of text messages to and from Gigi, he realizes that it was his fault for the breakup of their relationship and tries to get Millicent to forgive him and to rekindle their romance. She assures him that she forgives him, but she can’t forgive herself for the mistakes that she made if she is seeing him every day. ‘Mouth’ watches Millicent, the love of his life, walk out of their apartment and leave for New York City. After Skills is dumped by Deb and Millicent breaks up with ‘Mouth’, fate is taken into the hands of Skills. After waking ‘Mouth’ up, Skills informs him that they are going to ‘fix his broken heart’ and they end up driving to the college where Gigi attends. ‘Mouth’ tries his hardest to have a good time but, is haunted by the image and thought of Millicent. They both end up leaving the party and ‘Mouth’ falls asleep in the car and wakes up to find himself in an unfamiliar place. Skills, being the good friend that he is, was actually texting Brooke in the car, not some drunk college girls, and he inturn got the address to Millicent’s New York City apartment. He tells ‘Mouth’ “go, get your girl, fix your broken heart. ” ‘Mouth’ then proceeds to get out of the car and wait outside on the street for Millicent. He sees her, he apoligizes for everything and they end up sharing a kiss as they hold each other in their arms.
